Suburb Comparison
Taylor vs Hutto
Taylor and Hutto are the two obvious homes for a Samsung worker, both in eastern Williamson County minutes from the fab. Taylor is the fab town itself, cheapest and closest to the plant but still short on new-home supply and school ratings; Hutto is the established suburb next door with deeper selection and more amenities. The choice comes down to how close to Samsung you want to be versus how much community you want around you.
The short answer
Which should you choose?
Choose Taylor if
You want the shortest possible Samsung commute, the lowest prices, and small-town, historic-downtown character, and you can accept thinner new-home supply and a district still catching up.
Taylornew homes →Choose Hutto if
You want more new-home selection and Hutto ISD schools in a more built-out suburb with shopping and amenities, and you do not mind being a few minutes farther from the plant.
